Gas prices are at an all time high and show no signs on decreasing. What gives? Gasoline has surpassed $3.50 per gallon as national average, this is said to be a 23 percent increase from a year ago. With prices expected to reach $4.00 by this summer, consumers are now being forced to consider alternative modes of transportation. The problem is that gas is one of those necessities where its price can't be negotiated by everyday citizens.
Everyday the gas prices jump a couple of cents, which is plan ridiculous. What can be done to stop this madness? Oil now costs $117.48 a barrel and the economy shows no signs of reacting favorably to this change. The costs of living continues to rise, while more money is spent on items such as gas, food, health care to name a few. At this point I'm considering purchasing a bike, a skateboard...hell I don't even know how to skate, but it's sure worth a try....
